Deltaville VA

There was a knock on the boat, a light tap.  The guys from the boatyard were here for “the list” of things that need repaired.  It was actually 2women, they had their computers, asking lots of questions and making lots of notes.  We hope to hear tomorrow when, what  and how the repairs will happen. If it’s 3 weeks to get new electronics installed, we are thinking of maybe driving back to Phoenix and then turn around and drive back.  Sounds like way too much driving to me.  We’ll see how it all happens.  We may have a new grand baby by next week, we’re very excited.  We used the courtesy car that the marina has to run to the grocery store for sunflower seeds.  That is our latest suggestion of methods to use to get that wretched mouse, we also picked up some of those old fashioned mouse traps, the ones that come down with a very loud crack and maybe cut off a body part or two, which would be fine with me as I am not feeling very Christian at this point.  So, I forget to tell the story about me almost falling into the water.  We were tightening up the lines from the boat to the dock, I stepped onto the dock which happened to be a little slick.  I slipped, caught myself on the swim step, ran into the staple on the swim step and then lost my balance a third time, so close to going overboard.  Was not happy but now I see the humor in it.  It would have been funny except I had my headset on they David and I use to communicate while docking, that would have been an expensive little dip into the murky water, ha!  We used some time to clean out several storage areas and I rearranged the kitchen, can you say bored? Maybe tomorrow will be more exciting🤞🤞

  1. Put peanut on the wire traps, those are all we used when they were building PV mall and we caught many! Looks like a fun time!
