More chores
Thank goodness it cooled off today. It’s 66 right now, perfect in my world, sweatshirt weather to most. David decided to change the oil in the generator, it took him 45 mins and he was happy to have that behind him. Then he decided to rewire the electric cord that we plug into the dock, he’s been wanting to do that for 2 months. I got out my sewing machine and finished the bed comforter. We got to talking to our neighbor in the slip next to us, we both had reservations to go to the little restaurant by the marina office. As of 3:30 they were open but then closed because they didn’t have enough staff to open for dinner. There went our dinner plans. Our neighbors invited us to go into town to a restaurant that oysters were the specialty. Neither David nor I am into raw oysters, so we passed on the oysters.
Next are drapes and fabric boxes to hide all the junk. We got our crab picture hung finally.
David had a cheeseburger that he has been craving, I had Rock fish with some amazing sautéed spinach. We gave them some of our Altura CBD products for their arthritis, hip and knee pain. Now it’s time to start setting the mouse traps, a 45 min job before we can head to bed. Time to get the boat ready to leave in the morning. I found a place I wanted to go to, Crisfield Maryland, for their annual Crab Festival. We’ll head there for Friday night, in the meantime we may just go anchor out somewhere for a simple relaxing day.thanks for stopping by for another day in Boatland.
Nice job on the bedspread. Lights up the whole room. I'm with you on the oysters...Yuk!
