Getting ready to drive and drive and drive

Our new exterminator friend did indeed come back with his “sure to kill the rat” bait. He came in and we showed him around, he loved the boat, we gave him some of our Altura Wellness CBD, chatted awhile and off he went. We told him we’d call him when we get back from Phoenix and we’ll go have a drink in celebration of our rat’s demise.   We got an Uber into Gloucester (Glock-ster) to pick up our rental car from Enterprise, they told us they would have driven here to the marina to pick us up if we had inquired, darn (or should I say Rats, ha!).  While we were in the big lights, we made a run to WallyWorld for a few things.  They carry this cleaning product called Super Clean in a bright purple bottle. The stuff is amazing, it’ll clean just about anything. And Kitty!! we finally found a electric rat trap, it too is going into the mix tonight. I’ve spent the day packing clothings, snacks, Ellie’s things, making chicken salad, egg salad and fresh bread for the road.  It is so difficult with my gluten free regimen to eat at the fast food places when traveling that we just pack all our food.  The weather is less than stellar, but typical, 90 degrees and 61%.  Pretty gross in my opinion.  We made a couple of loads of stuff out to the car to save time in the morning and now we’ll head to bed.

Loaf of bread I made for the trip.

Beautiful drive between Deltaville  and Gloucester.

Sunset tonight.
