Yay, it’s weekend

I slept until 11am, but feeling some better.  David had been up since 5:30am and had started washing the outside of the boat.  We got word that we are to move into a different slip for our month stay here in the marina.  That went very smoothly, between David and the yacht controller he sure makes it look easy (which it isn’t).  The boat yard dropped this cool old sailboat back into the water, using their giant lift.  Bobby waved at me while he was driving the lift, guess he’s done it a few thousand times.  While we were  getting our boat back into the new slip, Ellie came out to help and had a 3minute sniff fest at one of the vents up by the bow, hmmmmm?  When we went to the stern of the boat, our garbage bags had been eaten through, the rat had left the inside of the boat, via the vent Ellie found, and wandered around the decks.  Do we even dare to think it might have gotten off the boat?

Lift putting that cool boat into the water.  Did you notice the dolphin on the front of the bow?

You have to get them sound asleep before you can “arrange” them into a cute pose.

We have taken all the food sources away inside, except there are a lot more drawers and cabinets that he could yet destroy.  We’re basing our attack tonight around that exterior vent, who knows we might get lucky.  Ps. As David was setting the traps tonight he knocked over a spray bottle of was onto the sticky trap.  He couldn’t get it off, worry about that tomorrow, hopefully there will be a rat attached to it too!
