Date with Pad Thai
I started out the day watching cream of the crop soccer teams battle it out. Leslie and I went furniture shopping, she wants an oversized chair and ottoman with a pattered fabric that matches her sofa and love seat she already has, phew, a lot of parameters. But she found what she wanted! We’ll look a little more before she plops her money down. Off to Rigatony’s for lunch, the quinoa pasta with marinara sauce was really very good. It was wonderful to spend some quality time with my daughter. Next, we went to Grant’s house to see Mommy Ashley and Harrison. They had just woken up from a nap and had a snack. Harrison was in a great mood, making lots of baby noises and staring at us. I found another narwhal for him, a beanie baby one, that brings his school of narwhals up to 3. Grant and I started on dinner, we chopped for over an hour to get everything ready for Pad Thai and fried rice from scratch. We tried to cook the rice outside so we didn’t stench up the house but that was short lived, a dust storm blew in so….

we stenched up the house. Dinner was excellent and I love cooking with my son. Grant did drop an egg and it splatted all over his foot so little Syd-y girl helped us clean up the mess! We had a great night of family fun!
