First tear (like cry not rip)

We had a mostly uneventful day, a couple of rain storms, a dust storm and freeway construction about 10% of our miles.  Then there was the guy in the little green car that tailgated me so close I couldn’t see the hood of his car, grrrr, we were all hardly going at idling speed, I don’t think anybody was going to try to cut him off.  Ome,

Beautiful  red hills of New Mexico.

deep breath.  We are in Albuquerque tonight and we had a gourmet dinner….leftover hotdogs from dinner last night and a Subway sandwich turned into a salad instead, oh and Doritos and salsa with a handful of M&M’s for dessert.  Our little Harrison had a procedure done this morning.  He has a “tongue tied”  tongue.  The doc numbed the underneath of his tongue and lasered that tendon thingey under your tongue. Grant told us he cried a real tear, Harrison, not Grant.  Although I wouldn’t be surprised if our soft hearted Granty had a real tear too. The doc gave Grant and Mommy Ashley some arnica and Tylenol for Harrison when the novacaine wore off.  Harrison tried out his new working tongue and did some great nursing without half of the milk running out of his mouth. We’re hoping he can nurse longer without being exhausted from all the extra work his tongue was causing which means he’ll have a fuller belly and sleep longer, yay!
