On the boat again!

Back on the boat again! After 5days of driving, we were ready to be here.  And so was Ellie, she seems to like it on the boat where the 3 of us are never far apart.  When we left, the corn fields were knee high and today, they have grown to 6’ tall.  I hope we’re here when it begins to ripen.  A lot of the repairs are complete, the underwater lights are pretty cool, the a/c works well again (good thing, it was 92 and 62%). They’re still trying to figure out what’s wrong with the stabilizer, a lot of problems have been ruled out, but no solution yet.  The camera on the back deck is installed.  We tried to do that ourselves and found pretty quickly that it was above our pay grade.  But the best repair is all the sanitary hoses were changed out (drain water from showers, sinks and toilets). They were less than fresh smelling and now it’s pleasant again. We got about half of the truck unloaded, we’ll do the rest in the morning before it gets ugly outside.  I was able to get Ellie certified as a Service Animal, she completed her training and we got her vest(it’s a little snug but we all need to lose some weight, she can join the walking club with us).  Anyway, we are back in Boatland, it’s good to be back.  Can’t wait to finish the repairs and head out to Maine. Never sure which video is playing, but one is the underwater lights, one is the baby fishes being drawn into the new lights.  We went from Wytheville, VA to Deltaville VA, 325 miles, 5.5 hours.

Baby fishes I think.

Light show.

Sunset at the boat.

There were so many rest stops along the freeway and they were all super nice, clean bathrooms, pretty flowers and safe too.

Sunset again.

Sunrise with early morning fog.

The app that we run the underwater lights with, these are all the colors you can choose from.

You see everything along the freeway!
The dots on the window are a reflection of my shirt.
