Shopping with Leslie

David and I got up before the sun and mowed, edged and blew off both the front and back yards.  It always looks so nice and I love that smell of freshly cut grass.  I got cleaned up to go get my hair cut but David suggested I wait until tomorrow as perhaps the B Team would be working on the holiday, probably a good idea. Leslie and I decided to go shopping at Kohl’s where we managed to find a little something for most of us.  Harrison scored big, can’t wait to see which outfits he likes best, ha. Leslie and I continued the hunt for her oversized chair and ottoman.  It’s been 6 months but she’ll find what she wants eventually. I worked on Photoshop today and I learned that I have so much!!! to learn, but the joy is in the journey and it feels good when you figure out how to do something new.  We are getting ready to drive on Friday, finishing projects, cleaning up messes we’ve made (our daughter is a saint to put up with us for so long) and getting last minute things ordered from Amazon.  It won’t be long till we are back on the boat.  The yard has crossed quite a few things off the honey do list.  The sanitary hoses have all been changed, the back deck underwater lights are in, camera on the back deck is installed, don’t know about fixing the horrible noise the shower door makes or the stabilizer fin (which is why we went there in the first place) or the hatch cover up on the bow.  But one very exciting thing…..there are no signs of the rat!! He must have enjoyed a bit of poison a la mode and now he is a puddle somewhere (evil laugh, evil laugh).😈😈
