The dinghy
To make a long story short, the title to our dinghy was totally screwed up. Florida thinks our dinghy is owned by a guy that was 2 owners ago, Mississippi thinks the guy we bought the boat from still owns it. Good news is I have the bill of sale, it’s a good thing because the man we bought Painkiller from passed away about 3weeks after we bought it and I really didn’t want to bother his poor wife. After a lot of hoop jumping, first at the AZ DMV, then at the AZ Dept of Fish and Game (located in The Middle of Nowhere), we got a really nice lady that had 20 years experience and she didn’t even know what to do. She knew who to call though, the top of the ladder at Fish and Game but even that gal didn’t know how to handle it. Called Mississippi, they told us we did indeed have all the correct paperwork we needed and in 10 minutes after that, we walked out with the correct paperwork and tags, for a mere $20. We now officially own our dinghy, woohoo! Scratch that nightmare off the list.ðð. We took Jake to breakfast at Snooze, they have lots of gluten free options and they were even good, really spendy but good. Then this afternoon Leslie and I found a hair salon near the house and we both got a much needed haircut. I wish when my kids were little that someone would have told me they’d be just as much fun as adults as they were when they little. Well, I guess I just passed that gem of knowledge on to those of you with little ones!❤️
