Venting, complaining or bitching?

I think today was what you might call a low point in Boatland.  Things didn’t go so smoothly today.  I emptied the truck and brought the boxes inside, what a mess the boat is.  It looks like it did when we were moving aboard in New Orleans.  We (meaning David) emptied the commissary of all of the stuff and there’s a lot!! stored down there so the a/c tech guy could get down to the compressor to fix the air conditioning.  Since it was 100 and 62%, we really needed the air, it was incredibly unbearable.  David tried to replace the fresh water pump, the new one was the wrong model, so he put  the bad one back on.  We discovered the lazarette had 5 gallons of water standing in it, a new water leak.  The plumber guy fixed that one.  Then the power went out with the storm that blew over.  The electrical pedestal that we plug into for electricity that is on the dock quit working. David then plugged into a different pedestal and we got our electricity back on.  Then the water quit, we knew it wasn’t the pump but figured out the water tank was simply empty, easy fix.  We always set a timer so we don’t forget to turn the hose off but when the buzzer went off we only had 1/4 tank of water, hmm??  Then we figured out their was a second leak and the pump was pumping the water into the now discovered second and bigger leak directly into the lazarette.  David also got his fingers smashed in the engine room door which is very big and heavy (it has to be water tight).  It hurt so badly that he used at least 3 days worth of  F-Bombs.  Oh, and there is something about the alternator, we can’t even start the engine without it so the hunt for the stabilizer issue has been delayed till they figure out the alternator thing.  You kinda get the kind of day we have had, it may not all make sense, just know every time we turned around something new was breaking.  Oh, and last but not least, the rat report!  We haven’t t seen any sign of it and neither did anybody else that was on the boat while we were gone.  I was hoping for a definitive ending, like a headless corpse, grrr but I will take that hopefully he jumped ship some dark and stormy night. The furthest we went today was to the hardware store 3 times, ha!  PS. I added some video of little Harrison❤️ To offset all the complaining.

Today’s storm, lots of rain, wind and lightning.

Some beauty for the day.

Went swimming, the water was rather warm, 90? But it was better than the air.

Storm blowing in, it was pretty.

Sunset.

More storm before it hit full force.

Stuff everywhere!!
