Can we just adopt Eric?

We did more cleaning today, and by we, I mean David.  We were told there was a strong mildew smell coming from the commissary. Sure enough when David crawled down there, the bilge was full of black crud.  He couldn’t tell what it was exactly but tried several different cleaning products.  The one that finally worked is something called Super Clean. It comes in a purple bottle, buy it at Walmart, it is amazing and so far has worked on every stubborn thing we have tried. Now we have a clean bilge in the commissary and no smell.  So Eric keeps finding issues.  The latest one is the batteries.  As best I can explain it….you’re allowed to put 4 rings on the battery post, there were already 5 on it and  we were going to add one which would have made 6 rings. Yeah, that doesn’t work, Eric found a safe workaround. The next battery he found had a ring on the post that was not secured with a washer and nut, it was just on there and hopefully didn’t vibrate off or get knocked off causing a short and then a fire.  Easy fix and I really glad Eric found it.  Eric is going on vacation in 2 days, yikes!  Who’s gonna babysit us then?, ha!  I think we become Bobby’s problem and he’ll have to finish all the projects that we are working on and waiting for parts or wires.  About half of the marina left this morning so it’s been pretty quiet today, the laundry room was available and the pool was empty. Winning!

A clean bilge!

Our newly found wonder cleaner.
