Hot day for boat rocking

Boss Bobby came down this morning to check the hydraulics for air bubbles again.  He rocked the boat back and forth several times and determined we still had air in the lines and spent some time hunkered down in the engine room bleeding out more bubbles, said he’d be back after lunch to finish…. he promised he’d be back tomorrow to try again and hopefully take the boat out for a sea trial.  The parts we are waiting on, one should be here tomorrow and the part for the a/c we were told would take 20 business days to get here.  We’re going to cross our fingers the a/c doesn’t die and see if we can pick the part up somewhere else down the line.  So I have to share the pic of one of neighbors here at the dock.  This nice man sailed his small wooden sailboat all the way from Japan, by himself.  That’s quite a feat considering the size of the boat and the limited amount of space, conveniences and spares he might need.  I can only imagine the weather and seas he must have encountered on his journey!        Happy Birthday to my now teenager grandson, he’s 13 today and home with a 102 degree fever, rotten way to spend your milestone birthday๐ŸŽˆ๐ŸŽˆ๐ŸŽˆ๐ŸŽˆ

Our dock neighbor from Japan.  You have to admire this guy, what an accomplishment!
