Looking forward

Doggone! Boss Bobby kept getting pulled away to check on the guys doing other projects for other boats.  We never got our shot at him.  We’re not sure how long it will take to put our hydraulic hoses back on, I imagine it would take Eric a couple of days…but Eric is on vacay.  Hmmmm, leaving Wednesday might be wishful thinking.  David and I did sit down at the computer and started looking at possible routes. It should take about 2 weeks to get up to Maine, then we’ll have 2 weeks there before we have to turn around and head south.  I’d love to have enough time to go into Upper New York Bay to see the Statue of Liberty.  How cool would it be to have a pic of Painkiller with Lady Liberty in the background??  Uber cool in my book.  We have dates that we need to observe, we can’t go South of Cape Hatteras until November 1st, so we have plenty of time to poke along and see some of the beauty and history of the East Coast.             Ps. Do you think it might help if I left a trail of chocolate chip cookies from Boss Bobby’s office to our boat??, ha!

I made drapes for the guest stateroom while David did the hot sweaty jobs.

David took advantage of the nice day and started cleaning the lazarette
, getting ready to move all the parts and tools out of the guest stateroom and back into the now  clean lazarette.
