The last repair
It was another beautiful day here in Deltaville, VA, it’s 72 and 74%. We had a nice rainstorm, a lot of clouds and a wonderful breeze. It was very quiet on the dock, everybody left yesterday. Eric was here bright and early as usual and got right to work. He finished running wires, fuses, checked connections and hallelujah, everything worked. We now have a great sound system in the boat and some new electronics that actually play nicely together and nothing gets confused and turns off or sets off alarms. That will be so nice when we get back out on the water, knowing where you are is always a good thing, ha! The boat was even more torn up today and I have to admit, I’m glad everything is finished so we can start cleaning and putting things away. Eric starts his vacation tomorrow, he’s headed to N. Dakota for a pyrotechnic convention, he is really into fireworks, stay safe Eric and see you in the fall to unpickle the watermaker. Bobby is coming in the morning to install all the hydraulic hoses for the stabilizer. There’s a chance it might be done Friday afternoon, if not, hopefully Monday will find us with all our repairs finally, completely finished. It will take us a day to get everything cleaned up, stowed and get our route North plotted. Tuesday maybe the day we have been waiting for for 9 weeks! Onward to Maine!
