Boat toy store

The weather where we are going was not conducive to a good day in Boatland, thank you Hurricane Larry.  The wind and waves will calm down a lot tonight so we plan on leaving at 6:30am tomorrow.  We’ll have about an hour of unpleasant seas before we can get leeward of land. That’s ok, Dramamine for me and David will get to see how she ( the boat) handles in rougher water.  We wandered down to 2 marine supply stores.  David found the hydraulic fluid he has been on the hunt for and an itty bitty life vest for Harrison.  Since I have gone through the sole of my flip flops, I found the right color, blue, the size, 9 and the brand, Cobian and I bought them.  Even Amazon is sold out of the blue ones so I considered it a find to get the last one they had.  I saw some pretty flowers along the highway, the zinnias I’d never seen before, my geekiness for horticulture rears it’s ugly head again.  David found the perfect fishing pole already set up that he has been wanting.  After lunch, he went back to the store to buy it (where are you going to put a huge fishing pole with the hook already on it in a restaurant?) and some guy that had been looking at it for 2 months came in and beat him to it, doggone it!  And so goes it in Boatland.

Sunset.  Goodnight America❤️

Harrison’s life jacket, David’s glasses are there to show the scale.

Look at that variation in the zinnia petals!

At lunch, this lady’s lobster was twice the size of her fist, it was HUGE!

Just pretty flowers.
