Brushin’s

What’s left of Ida.

Today’s adventure was Ellie, nothing bad.  It was just bath and brushin’s day.  It took about 3hours to brush her out, trim her feet and face.  We got the haircut paraphernalia out and started trimming.  We picked up a plastic grocery bag full of hair from the deck so it didn’t blow into the water.  She was very patient, she loves brushin’s but baths, not so much.  We met another Selene owner, Jim and Darlene on Sabbatical which is a 49’  2007 Selene.  They came over for the 25 Cent Tour of Painkiller and then we went to their boat for their 25 Cent tour.  Darlene and I compared all the cabinets and drawers to see where we each stored different things. It was fun.  They have little fans, 2 in the master, 2 in the salon, 2 in the pilot house. It makes it so much more comfortable.  That may have to go on David’s honey-do list.  We went to dinner at a little restaurant across the street from the marina with our neighbors, Doug and Dana, from next door.  I had a great piece of salmon and David’s giant hamburger was good too. We enjoyed dinner with them.  They’ve invited us to buddy boat out to the Atlantic with them. We would try to go to Atlantic City on Saturday, depending on how Ida is acting.  Then we’d go on up to New York City and Dana said she would get my picture of Painkiller with Lady Liberty in the background!!

Ellie, after brushin’s and before trimming.

Anybody know what this is?

After her bath.
