The best and worst
The morning started with a chore that made it's way to the top of the ToDo List, a chore we have been avoiding. We got out of bed, went to use the head. There has been a loose screw that holds the seat to the bowl, it finally wormed it's way out and fell onto the floor, into the bowl or into the garbage can???? We needed to find that very specific size and shape screw. It would destroy the macerator pump and from there it would cause problem after problem on down the plumbing lines. So.......David had to uninstall the toilet base in able to find the screw. It had fallen onto the floor but we only had 1" to get a tool into the space to retrieve it. After about 30 minutes, we managed to wiggle the toilet around, retrieve the screw and get it reinstalled where it belonged. Phew, disaster averted! After that we got under way and headed south to Palm Coast Florida. It was a short run, 3-4 hours and gratefully unexciting. The highlight of the day was to finally have the dolphins come play beside the boat, a mommy and young baby. I was able to actually get video of it. I was so excited! Once we got to the dock, we got fuel (311 gallons), took a quick Uber ride to Publix and now home for shrimp cocktail for dinner.
