Valentine's Day

David spent the day chasing gremlins, as he calls them (boat issues).  He got a few things figured out, spent part of the day on the phone doing business and making reservations for the next couple of nights.  St. Augustine is a great place, lots of fun things to do, lots of restaurant choices and tons of unique shopping.  We spent a couple of hours wandering around looking at the architecture and the history.  The Cathedral Basilica of Saint Augustine was open for viewing.  It is America's first Parish, founded on September 8, 1565.  It rivals the beautiful and historical churches in Europe, the stained glass windows, the very old pews, the paintings and the overall beauty of the building.  I went into a shell shop and found a few things I "needed" (too cute to pass up...like sand dollars the size of your thumbnail).  David and I have this arrangement, I hate drying the shower at night and he hates doing dishes so we traded the chores we hate, so for Valentine's Day, I got, better than chocolate, he did the dishes after dinner.  Oh, crud, I suppose I should dry the shower tonight for him. 😘  Well, Happy Valentines's Day to everyone whether you do cards and gifts or showers and dishes❤️❤️

 The beautiful church

These windows were reflecting the glass, the colors were enough to inspire art

Horse drawn carriage which I totally do not support, horse cruelty!! This poor horse didn't even look to be an adult, he was so small😭

 Cannon in the town square

Another very old tree with moss hanging from the branches, looks like it should be in a movie or a painting or something
