We made it!

January 21 we started our trek south towards Key West and today, we arrived, March 3rd.  Almost every day for 5 weeks, we have been up between 5am and 6am and we would run anywhere from 4 hours to 10 hours.  We have learned that we really enjoying being out on the water.  The going is fun! Nonetheless, is it safe to say we are happy to be here and looking forward to a little down time? Yes.  We had a nice run today, more dolphins, lots of boats bobbing around, we saw a blimp and maybe 4592 crab pots.  We steered the boat ourselves because of those 4592 crab pots, we spent more time dodging them so we gave up on the autopilot and just "drove".  We got moved into our slip and we're pretty happy with it.  It's pretty darn close to the laundry room, a short walk to the pool,  quiet neighbors and our very own dock box that the bots (those scooter things) fit into. There's lots of video, yesterday's and today's, probably too many dolphin vids but I can't help myself, it's so fascinating and wondrous.  Today we went from Marathon to Stock Island, 37 miles, 5 hours, 75 degree water,   78 degrees and tolerable humidity, another great day in Boatland.
