We were up before sunrise to get ready to lift the anchor.  We had a crab crawl up our anchor line the night before but he left us before we could figure out a way to catch him and eat him for dinner, his lucky day.  It's a beautiful day, 80-ish degrees, 9.1 knots of wind, high wispy clouds.  We made it through some pretty shallow places today.  We team navigate through those, one of us drives, the other watches the waypoints and calls out course corrections.  It's a good system for us.  We went through a bridge, the Krogen 52 we were following had to call the bridge operator to request an opening. His snarky response was, "I'll open it when you get close enough".  He did open it but he got no polite thank you from either of us that had just passed through, as is customary.  If that is the most exciting thing that happens today, that's ok. We have about 90 minutes of cruising before we get to New Smyrna.  We hope there is a place to anchor or pick up a mooring ball.  7:45 pm  We “drove around” to try to find a place to anchor, to get a slip, to find an empty mooring ball or anyplace to call it a day.  FINALLY, after 2 1/2 hours, we found a spot to anchor. The sun set with not much time to spare to end our 12 hour day.

End of a long day.
