More pics of Painkiller
More gauges. 18.8 is the depth from surface of the water to the bottom of the water. We go 5.6” below the surface, so there is 13” water before we run aground. The gauge to the far left is for engine rpm’s and fuel consumption. We watch those two constantly.
Chart plotters. Where we watch the waypoints and know when to turn and how much, also where the hazards are.
From the pilot house, where we “drive” the boat looking up the stairs to the flybridge. We have another complete set of instruments up there to navigate with. The dinghy is also up there.
Circuit breakers. Each circuit is labeled with what it controls. There’s the 220V section, the 110V section, 12V section.
Salon with galley on the right, with our new refrigerator. Stairs go up to the Pilot House, where we steer from..
Looking down the hallway. Guest stateroom on the left. Those tiny doors on the right is the linen closet, 6 eight inch cubes, master stateroom at the far end.
My favorite new thing! I am target practice for every biting bug out there. This gadget sucks out the venom for the bites. Thank you Kitty! We went to Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store this afternoon in the marina’s loaner car. It reminded me of a car a teenager would’ve saved up money from his paper route to buy. But it was free, so I should not be snarky. We are going to borrow it again in the morning to go to the Post Office and get our propane tanks filled. David found some good mouse traps at the Ace Hardware store. We set them with a choice of deli meat and cheese, a feast no mouse could resist, I hope. After dinner we took a stroll through this cute little town of Beaufort NC and met some very nice, but really drunk people. They all love Ellie! Today we went from Hampstead, NC to Beaufort, NC, 57 miles, 8 hours.

Great tour of the boat. You sound like an experienced Captain already.
