A little hiccup

Boss Bobby was here this morning. He brought a helper that lugged the 5 gallon buckets of hydraulic fluid into the engine room. After Boss Bobby told him to be careful to not make a mess, he very carefully and neatly poured 10 gallons of fluid into the port at the top of the Westmar.  Boss Bobby can come tomorrow morning to purge the air out of the system,  start the main engine to  pressurize the system and then check for leaks. This description is from the Captain, my description would have included a more vague explanation like the stuff got poured into the thingy-s and then check for bad stuff by turning the big rumbler on.  Anyway, if all goes well, the next step is to take the boat out for a sea trial.  We have a new fan motor coming for the salon a/c, which means the a/c is dying and we are in humid Virginia in the middle of August. The new motor might be here tomorrow and we won’t be delayed too much longer. I don’t know who’s job a new motor installation is, maybe Boss Bobby.  We have been making such positive leaps towards being on our way, I’m hoping this is just a hiccup.

Hydraulic fluid containers, that’s my description.

Oh, and the freezer in the commissary just died too.  We managed to get all the frozen stuff into the refrigerator freezer and part went into the ice maker.
