Boss Bobby rocks (the boat too)

What a great day! Boss Bobby came down, I was off the boat but I heard that noise, that noise that is music to my ears.  Boss Bobby was using the bow and stern thrusters to work the air bubbles out of the hydraulic fluid. Then he turned the engine on!!  It’s been just shy of 3 months since we arrived here and started our repairs journey.  We will do a pseudo sea trial tomorrow mid-morning. Boss Bobby said we’ll put some extra lines on so we are tied up to the dock really well.  He’ll move the boat around enough to test the stabilizer function.  I’m assuming things will be working which opens the door for our departure. We are waiting for a couple of parts to arrive, the fan motor for the a/c and a second new fresh water pump.  I spent most of the day finishing the spreads and pillows for the guest stateroom.  I’m happy with the way it turned out.  We’ve already stowed several things back onto the bunk but it’s nice to have it finished and organized.  David spent some time plotting out several courses and looking at marinas.  They range in price from $3.50/ft to $12/ft. per night, electricity is extra.  We are 43’, you do the math.

The stateroom finally finished.

Making the pattern for the bunk spreads.

Drapery #2 of 4 for the master stateroom.

It was a little muggy today, 86 and 76%. Thank God the air hasn’t quit yet!
