Clean bilge

Our neighbor, Linda, said she’d like to go into town with me. We decided not early but we’d shoot for 11am.  I slept until 10:30 and scurried around to be ready in time.  She came down a little after 11 and confessed she’d only been up 10 minutes.  No more shopping trips till after lunch, ha! We spent 3 hours in town wandering around then came back to fix some sides for our dinner together. Linda had bought a 3# bag of crab claws (for 5$, bargain) and offered to share them with us.  We did go up to the marina’s little cabana so we didn’t get crab gunk on either one of our boats and a good thing we did, we made a huge mess. While I was shopping, David went into the engine room to clean the bilge, 10 years of an accumulation of spilled fluids, oil, algae, dirt and a dead frog.  It didn't stink but was just an ugly site that makes it look like you haven’t taken good care of of your boat.  But it is sparkly clean now!

Now a clean bilge, 4 hours later.

Cake on Painkiller, Ellie liked  Linda a lot.
