Spring Cove Marina, Solomons MD
While I got my beauty rest, David got up early and cleaned off the old numbers on the dinghy. Then he very perfectly put the new registration numbers on both sides of it. It looked professional, he did a great job. I walked around the marina grounds (to try and find the garbage dumpster) and took some nice pics of the place, it’s very pretty. And then I found the gift shop. Santa managed to do some Xmas shopping, plus I found another cool crab t-shirt for myself. The marina has bicycles you can check out, the new ones were quite nice, simple and had big seats for my big seat and no gears or hand breaks. We rode into town to look around, it’s been years since I have been on a bike. Fortunately, like they say, it does come right back to you. I was happy we waited till the hottest part of the day, ha. After almost 4 miles we were so sweaty (it was 95 & 58%) the breeze blowing over us felt quite good. There was a key lime pie store that we couldn’t pass up. By the time we got back to the boat the pie was a little tired. I threw it in the fridge and off we went to the pool to cool off a bit. I ordered a pina colada at the bar, and I must be honest, it sucked horribly, $12 for a shot of rum and some white industrial tasting liquid that reminded my of one of those sugar tolerance tests where you have to drink that obscenely sweet chemical stuff

, yuck! David had a Spring Cove Punch, not bad, plenty of rum, we’ll sleep well tonight. Fun day and tomorrow we head to Annapolis.
