Ice Cream and Knockers
This afternoon was for errands. We Ubered into town and started at PF Changs for lunch, I love that place but the servings were huge and we were stuffed. Next was Home Depot where we ordered one mini-blind for the boat. We're having it sent to Deltaville where we will be in a couple of weeks. If it looks good, we'll order new blinds for all the windows in the salon. It will make the room so much brighter! We then walked a couple of blocks over to Sally's Hair Supply for a few things, then Office Depot and then finally to the grocery store we'd never heard of but it was close. It turned out to be a little like a dent and scratch kind of store so we backtracked and went to another grocery store we'd never heard of, Giant. It was a great store, we got what we needed, which included 13 gallons of distilled water. We use about a gallon a day so we're good for awhile. We Ubered back to the boat, got it all put away and decided to take Ellie and walk back into town. We were still full from lunch so we had ice cream for dinner. We were told we could bring Ellie inside the store. We found a table, David brought over 3 cups of ice cream, one for me, one for him and one for Ellie. It was real ice cream, not a doggy concoction. Ellie got the message real quickly that one of those little paper cups had her name on it. You should have seen her tear into it, she has never had anything like this before and she just inhaled it. We strolled around town a little and then came back to the boat. The weather has cooled off a little and it was so pleasant, days are still a little warm but not miserable like they were. Tomorrow is boat cleaning day and Sunday we are headed out of Annapolis to have the boat exterior detailed, including the hull getting waxed. It's already time to have it done again. We may go to Baltimore where there is a Trawler Fest boat show just to do some "window shopping" to see if there's anything that is of interest. One just never knows what's around the corner.
Looking through the glass storm door, you can see the crab knocker.
