Quiet Sunday

Sundays are usually pretty quiet.  And today was. We did more preparation for our first guests coming aboard and we are so very excited!  All of the overflow “stuff” from the guest stateroom was shifted into the master head shower, it would be nice to have a shower curtain so as not to have to look at it, ha. Grant, Ashley and our little Harrison will arrive in Annapolis on Wednesday. We are shopping for our miscellaneous diets, gluten free, low fat, low carb, low dairy and lots of fruits and veggies.  I’m thinking one night we will have Shrimp Louie Salad and that’s as far as I have come with meal planning.  Blah, Blah, Blah.  Like I said, Sundays in Boatland are usually pretty quiet.  Thanks for everybody’s continued support and hello to all of our new guests!

Sunset.
I couldn’t resist putting in a pic of Harrison and his narwhal that I got today.

Sunset through our  salon door.

Just another beautiful sunset.

  1. Hi Pam! Good old Michael here. Thanks for posting the info on your blog. I started at the beginning and have enjoyed reading all of it. You have a way with words that makes a person feel like they are there on the boat with you guys and Ellie, as well as your other travels and wonderful family.

Just some random thoughts from me. Publix, love them! Best key lime pie ever. One of my favorites. Packing up food for your drive back to Phoenix reminded me of the road trips we took as a family. No fast-food places then. My mom watched the budget, so it was meatloaf and liverwurst sandwiches on Roman Meal bread, potato salad or cucumber salad. How we didn’t get food poisoning, I’ll never know. And even though I’m retired, I still use Excel almost daily. Gotta keep track of my embroidery threads for my photo stitching somehow. I love your sewing projects. Nice machine too.

Since retiring, though not by choice since March 2020 had other ideas, I’m wanting to indulge my passion a bit for road trips. If all goes well, will be down in Phoenix, mid-October. Not a big trip, but a start.

I’ll look forward to reading about your family and your adventures.
