Waiting for Mr. Harrison

Grant and family will be here in about an hour!! I’ve cleaned, organized, mopped and dusted and the boat looks good.  I can’t wait for them to get here and I can give them the 25 Cent tour, which will take about 3 minutes, if that.  The boat is pretty small. We needed to make one last run to the grocery store, Safeway again.  We called  Uber, they wanted $42 dollars.  Yikes!! We waited a few minutes, and tried again, it went down to $29.  We waited another 15 minutes and at $12 we confirmed.   We will stay here in Annapolis tonight and tomorrow night and then head out to Cambridge MD, I believe. I just remembered, we did have one exciting thing happen today.  A trawler was trying to dock, we couldn’t tell if he was a newbie or what????   He was bouncing off the pilings, his poor wife was running around not knowing what to do and was one step away from panic.  They had lost and engine and he had no thrusters so he didn’t have a lot of control.  He ran into our anchor at least twice.  Between the dock guy and David and me, we managed to use the boat hooks with a lot of pushing and shoving, we finally got some of his dock lines around the pilings and kept him from any more bouncing around. Sorry, not much excitement except the guy with only one engine. The fun will start as soon as soon as Mr. Harrison gets here.  Then there will be way too many pics, probably of him.  Thanks for coming by, Friday is a “movin’ day” and we will have lots more typical Life In Boatland.
